NIXA, MO -- A Missouri man died in his sleep just hours after he was bitten by a snake and refused to seek medical attention. Snake bites are pretty rare, and it's even more rare to have a fatality.

The man was attacked by his own pet python around his neck in the streets of Taiwan as bystanders tried to trap the snake in a bucket after the bite left the victim on the floor.
