Included in that group is Target, as the company said in a news release last month, its stores will be closed on Christmas Day this year. Stores will reopen under their normal hours on Friday, Dec. 26. In addition to Target, the following retail stores will be closed on Dec. 25.

ABC News reported that Target stores will be open on New Year's Day. Target also outlined its holiday hours on its website and the only days they are closed during the holidays are Thanksgiving (November 27) and Christmas Day (December 25).
